We need cobbles or old slabs ( or something similair) to create a small exterior seating area. We are able to collect.

Goods & Services Notice Board
Inspiring the Galloway LETs community to trade

The notice board is for members to list the goods and services they are offering that are not listed in the members directory or that they have excess of or things they urgently need.

Here are some tips for traders:
When you contact another member to make a trade make absolutely sure you are both clear about what you are trading and for how much.

Make sure you know if there is a portion to pay in cash and what cost that is, e.g. travel, materials.

Remember everything is negotiable, so if you're not happy with the price haggle! An entry on this notice board is not a guarantee of quality. Most members are competent at what they offer, but few are professionals. So check with them first. You can also ask another person who has traded with them if they are happy with the job.

If someone contacts you requiring your service - be honest - if you can't do it say so. If you haven't got the time, don't trade until you have, if you make arrangements with someone, keep them, or tell them you can't in good time. Only advertise what you are willing and able to offer. If you offer what you enjoy doing it will be easier and more fun.

Galloway LETs is here to put people together, to help match skills and needs. As a group we cannot take responsibility for the cost and quality of any trade that members make. Having said that, and you do have a problem, and need it sorting out, contact the office.
